To provide kids with art and craft experiences that encourage self-expression, boost self-esteem, and create memorable moments of bonding with trusted adults.
Why Art and Crafts?
Art and crafts allow kids to communicate without words. In scary situations, such as the transition into foster care, the simple act of holding a paintbrush and putting paint to paper can help a child feel in control. Showing off finished projects to a trusted adult can even boost a child’s self-esteem.
